Sure we can return but we prefer to keep it for future displays.

Why would you want that? It’s super easy to solder the 10 pin connector to the duinoproto.

I don’t know about Ian’s reason, but I don’t have a Gadgeteer, thus I have to use my DuinoProto as a shield on my Panda to get a Gadgeteer socket.
Hence using a protoboard, or home-etch-board for the prototype.
Hmm, it’s a shame that dorkbotPDX takes a month to get PCBs from, else I would have prefered to have the board made…
Correct, but what if GHI wants to test it with a gadgeteer?
As far as I understood the rules, it should be made for a gadgeteer board and can be tested with a arduino clone if the contestant had no gadgeteer board.
We can test it anyway you like. Go back to the contest page to see how points are added.
I’m just thinking contingency plans in case I mess a board up or things don’t get as polished as I would like by time the deadline comes around. I’m trying to get these questions answered before the 11th hour.
We’ve extended the final design due date by two weeks:

The top three contestants will be announced Wednesday, February 1st, 2012. These contestants are required to mail their prototype (and provide tracking number) by Wednesday, February 8th, 2012.
