The all new TinyCLR is here!

There is a space, your brower cached the css file.

I just love this clean look.
Way better than the previous one

Good work!

Awesome! A little CTRL+F5 and everything looks great.

Thanks for the margin between posts. Everything start to look and feel good

Agreed! I’m feeling much better about this than I was on Friday

At my office we have a rule that we never do deployments on Fridays. That way we know no one has to work the weekend and we’re able to start off fresh on Monday

It would be nice if the image attachments scaled to fit the little box they go in instead of cropping them. Sometimes the part that’s shown after the crop is not very useful. People new to the forum may not know to click on them.

That what Ian said + opening image attachments with lightbox effect.

Just found a new bug… If I go to ā€œMy Postsā€ and go beyond the 2nd page then the post titles no longer show up. Also, it would be nice to makes this page cleaner like the rest of the forum posts. Maybe only show the title and the first line of the reply so that more will fit on the page when scanning through.

Missing titles isnt really a bug its a lack of title. Originally replies could have subjects. Then we hide subjects on replies which rendered those subjects blank. That’s why some messages are missing subjects.

Clicking ā€œMy Postsā€ is used to show you your posts. However, it’s really using the search page so it’s important to show all content. We did however just add spacing between the results.

I’m not sure what you mean, Josh. I’m looking at some replies posted four days ago. The thread definitely has a title but they aren’t showing in the listing.

Is it just me or does the server seem to be ā€œnot upā€ more often these days? I know I’m half a world away so inet comms is sometimes to blame, but it just seems different to before?

I haven’t noticed it being down much since Sunday. Being a lot of time zones away, though, you may be on it more when Josh is doing the upgrades when I’m not. Although it seems that he’s been doing most things during regular work hours CST.

I’m still getting a javascript error when clicking the ā€œMark as Readā€ link:

Upgrade to a modern browser

@ jasdev - This is an issue with the way IE 8 handles events. Let me know if you still see the issue.

According to these sites, IE8 still has a market share equal to IE9, and also 47% of all IE browsers used are IE8.

It’s hardly an outdated browser, and do you really want a forum that does not support almost half of all IE browser users?

Gus, Thanks it works now.

Ian, an interesting side note… The company I work for develops web applications for State and County governments, and in almost every contract there is a requirement to support all browsers and browser versions that have at least 5% market share, so we even have to support IE6. IE6 is so far behind other browsers that I have to create special CSS files just for IE6.

@ jasdev, Which browsers/versions do you end up supporting? This is based on local state or us analysis?

I used to like IE but I switched to Firefox many years ago. IE in general always seems to be lagging behind others in terms of web technologies and standards support. To use these features means IE users suffer. TinyCLR is designed using the latest browser versions. Most large companies and corporations are slow to adopt newer browsers (such as the State and County governments you speak of). IE6 usage within the US is less than 1% so I’m not sure why you’re still supporting that monster. Anyway, we haven’t abandoned those with older versions. We’ll fix issues as their discovered but we personally recommend using the latest version of your preferred browser.

I think you meant me? LOL
