LOL, no, actually. Surprisingly enough, I still have a quite full head of hair, particularly given that my grandfather was bald by the time he was 30. More about the increasing gray, and the middle-age spread. But that’s probably sharing too much.
Personally I don’t like the decay system. Positive motivation is a good thing, but not in this way. It’s a punishment for those that are not able to keep an eye on the forum all day, and we all have those days, and I’m not even talking about holidays.
If you want to promote positive motivation, I think a better system would be a coupon reward (for ex 25$) every 5000 points (or something in that direction) or add points to your products besides prices, and every time they reach a certain amount of points, they can choose one of the products in that points category.
Again, these are just my 2c, and I’m not complaining at all.

LOL and I’m sure to get to that point they would have bought over $500 worth of NEW FEZ BOARDS if not more to get there… i doubt we will be talking about the current Cerb and Spider five years from now… :), and in order for anyone to help new users with new hardware (talking future hardware) they would have to have at least some of that hardware…
No no, you misunderstood what i’m saying. Adding points to the products is to reward people with the right amount of points to choose which product they would like to be rewarded with. Say, a cobra is worth 25000 points, a panda is 5000 points, and a user reaches 5000 points, they can choose to get the panda as a reward, or save up to 25000 points to get the cobra rewarded.
I hope this clears it up.

While this is not a bad idea but whenever someone says you get point I think “oh @ #$% here is another credit card trick” … like saying “sign up now and get 100000 bonus points!” Then in fine prints, 1M points is $1
I agree. However, there is one scenario that hasn’t come up yet that this would cover. What happens after Legend? Currently, on paper it looks like a dead end. Of course, we all know that the GHI gifts never end but “FEZ points” would make it a little more predictable.
You actually save more money, you receive products before anyone else and you get to have more opinion on new product decisions if you are an insider, thanks to the NDA which lets us talk more freely.
To give you an example, insiders just got $100 valued reel of multicolor LED for $1! They also received a 7" capacitive display valued at $200 fro $50. That is $250 saving and this is just an example
@ Gus - that’s just cruel - I want toys and to be cool like you lot…brace your selves for mindless drivel so I can get my points up to join the in crowd!
