I agree - am trying to get there - it’s 47 * each type of board - and that’s just the thicknesses I have in stock. Trying to automate the entry as the shopping cart software isn’t setup to do it easily.
Looks like he’s doing basically what I did, except I didn’t let my paint dry long enough, and his letters are much bigger than most of the ones that I engraved. I have more test cuts to do and I’ll get it perfected.
Steve I’d like to order one of your boards but am unable to register or send a contact message from your site, both pages have an “Input error: k: Format of site key was invalid” error.
Looks like the captcha configuration on your site could be banjaxed.
@ stevepresley - I’d been waiting for you to add the “top” piece to the Uni-mount. I just noticed that I think it’s actually there (aka Uni-grid) but it has the wrong picture. As soon as I get an email back from you regarding the other, I’m ready to place an order
Doh, thanks for catching the picture issue on the UniGrid.
When I think “Top plate” I think of a plate with just the holes around the edge and no grid - that way it’s open for engraving. I’ll post a pic of that up shortly and add that to the catalog. Been bouncing between 3 projects the past two days, so haven’t been able to do much on the site except fix the login issue.
@ ianlee74 and I worked on a custom board, which is now posted ( http://devonboard.com/monstergrid-xl ). I only have the XL version posted at the moment, should have the other sizes posted this weekend.
Also, I have added Carbon Fiber as an option on all products - sorry, it’s not cheap, but for those who asked for it, it’s now available.
Lastly, for TINYCLR members, use the code TINYCLR for 10% off your subtotal through the end of the year!
“We have designed a Uni-Mount layout that will let you mount your favorite embedded elecrtonics board to a thickness of plastic of your choice (several thicknesses between 0.06”/1.5mm to 0.5"/12.7mm) in many colors and finishes."
Thank you for the information Willy. Unfortunately, we have not heard from Steve in about a year (last login was in June of last year). His website (devonboards) does not seem to have received an update in that time frame as well (same for confs). His blog, however, has an update from September, but all is quiet since then.
