New Iso for Raspberry

Wow - at least I’ve got a very different behavior on the UART behavior that’s for sure … it effectively resets your PI when inserting the cable into U-Socket of the cream … whether the serial works is yet to be seen …

Well, I guess I’ve now got a new reset method for the PI, insert U-socket to an XBee gadgeteer module and you’ve got a reset …

[Edit] - Oh man, not now, got that Gary syndrom again …

What if it is connected at startup?

@ Squeebee - I have to power down or reboot twice on the pi. Where that comes from, no idea. But the PI, very briefly reports an error not captured exception in some file.

Coming back to your question, normal boot with plugged in xbee uart etc., only the assoc (red led closest to socket on gadgeteer module) keeps on burning.

@ .Peter. - So I ‘liked’ the post with the picture because I thought you were showing a working direct UART connection to XBee. Is it connected, powered, and working; or connected, powered and not quite working?
