Actually the 500V isn’t that bad. It did bite my once. The contacts for the tube doesn’t shock either. Only a small part of the PCB can bite…

The tube I used has VERY low sensitivity. It will only be useful for nuclear war… 
I have collected some real uranium glass, thoriated welding rods, tharium gas mantles, smoke detectors. This tube barely detects the uranium glass and the smoke detectors. Does not detect the gas mantles nor welding rods at all…
