I got quiet a few of the USB camera modules when they were on sale without realizing that they needed either a fez spider or raptor. I was looking at re purposing them and using them as generic usb cams on my windows machine. But windows just doesnt want to recognize the camera.
Has anyone tried using them as a standalone camera, is there a driver that needs to be installed?
No driver is needed. It should just magically work. Plug it to your power module and then plug into a pc.

It didnt work with win win 8.1 machine after reading your comment i tried a win 7 machine and it worked… Thanks guys… Dont know why it failed on my win 8 machine…
