I bought some SCM20100E-B modules in Dec 24 and they cost me A$58.09 each (Australian Dollars) from Mouser.
Today I went to place an order with Mouser and they are now A$75.82 and Digikey is even more expensive at A$85.08
Surely this is not caused by the orange one’s tariffs? Aren’t they made in the USA?
Why the big jump up in price?
USA products need components that are not made in the USA sadly.
The orange buffoon strikes again. The seller don’t pay the tariffs; the importer does. Trump should be able to sell ice cubes to the Eskimos.

The chips were designed in Italy / France / Switzerland that the company produces in Taiwan and distributed by a company based in Holland that exports them to the USA that programs them and ships them to Europe (and the world). Who benefits from raising the prices of basic components around the world if not the Chinese manufacturers… it’s globalization dear Orange. Even a poor direct peanut grower is understanding this.
