Forgive me if this is an obvious question, but what size are the components on the Fez Cerb40? The little capacitors and resistors, like C21, C22, R1, C1, et.al. I’m curious about all of them, but C21/C22 is what I need to know if I am to get an RTC working. The wiki just says 8pF.
I think 0603 or 0805 sizes will be fine, perhaps even 1206. From memory, the footprints have enough meat on them to take any of those… I suspect 0805 is the sweet spot since it’s easier to see and to solder by hand 
@ Gregg - They are 0603, but 0805 would still fit.
