Heh. No, for once we actually travelled for Thanksgiving. Went to visit with some of my wife’s family. Her cousin, who was hosting, has two houses next to one another in Richmond, and one he’s in the process of converting to a recording studio. Quite cool.
That’s the way to do it, too…one house to live in while you’re renovating the one next door.
Sounds like a good turkey day. That would definitely be the way to do it. I doubled the size of my first house (from 800 sqft to 1500 sqft!) while living in it years ago. Not fun… He’s spoiled.
