Using UART on Spider socket 8 with Button module connected too

I’m using the UART on socket 8, pins 4 and 5 via an extender board. I also have a button module on the same socket using pin 3 as an interrupt input. I am concerned about the LED on the button module. Everything works, but should I remove the LED on the button module. Will it cause any problems if used as-is in the long-term?
