USB Host Module - Error Message

Hello to everyone on the TinyCLR community,

I’m a new user of the Gadgeteer platform and am currently running a FEZ Cerberus mainboard.

I have attempted to ‘drag &drop’ a GHI Electronics - USB Host Module using the Visual Studios 2010 GUI.

When I do this I receive an error “This module could not be added: - A required library could not be found”

From other post re this error that I have read on the forum I have noted that the suggested solution involves the manual installation of the required files? I am currently running the GHI NETMF v4.2 and .NET Gadgeteer Package and I flashed my mainboard with the firmware on the following link: GHI Electronics – Where Hardware Meets Software as advised by Gus.

Any advise on how to resolve this issue would be most appreciated.

Welcome.

USB Host on the Cerberus is not available yet.

Thanks for the heads up.

Read further on the Wiki and noted that Gus told us that this was a known issue: http://www.tinyclr.com/forum/topic?id=7982

Hope it may become a reality soon, will keep following the topic, but thanks I would have been in the dark!
