Update TinyBooter with FEZ Config

hi
Im trying to update TinyBooter in my G120 TH because right now i have :
Loader (TinyBooter) version information:
4.3.8.1 on this computer.
4.3.7.7 on this device.

The Loader (TinyBooter) not up to date. <<<

so after choosing:
FEZ Config > Advanced > Loader TinyBooter Update > G120 (FEZ Cobra…
and clicking next im getting error:
The loader cannot be updated if more than one device is connected.
Make sure that only one device is connected and that it is in bootloader mode.

I was connecting GND to P0.22 pin but same error occured
anyone had this problem?

Hi,
I would look under Device Manger, activate the option Show hidden devices, if there are more than one and evtl. delete one.

Please see the instructions under G120 on the new docs website http://docs.ghielectronics.com

There is also a old obsolete document.
https://www.ghielectronics.com/docs/54/loader-tinybooter-g120-and-emx-families#521

The Table for G120 shows P2.10 High P0.22 Low for Tinybooter

But also a statement
For G120 connect LDR0 and LDR1 to GND (that’s P2.10 and P0.22) and reset (while device is powered) or power cycle the device.

and
Warning

Pin 59 P1_30 AD4/COM4 OE must NOT be grounded on power-up for GHI Bootloader to function correctly.

What is correct?

i don’t know if this is required to work but the real problem is that i don’t see g120 in vs2017 TinyCLR OS tab so i can’t deploy to it

There is no tinybooter with TinyCLR. Please follow the instructions to load loader v2 then the TinyCLR firmware.

TinyCLR is not NETMF. Keep this in mind or you will fall into many traps.

Gus

I mentioned the old document only as a reference for the state of the pins so you can download the loader.

i don’t know excactly what you mean saying that there is no tinybooter with tinyclr.
I would follow instructions to load loader v2 but what am i facing right now is a bit of mess and wondering what chapter should i read and from which website.

loader v2 measn this: http://docs.ghielectronics.com/hardware/loaders/ghi_bootloader.html#bootloader-v2

if sth else where can i find it?
