UART Pass through

Is it pssible pass through the data from the G120 UART to a terminal application on my desktop. I have GPS device connected to my board i wish to test with some software on my desktop?

If you want just to test use Usb to serial module.

Something like this

thanks…just though it would very useful. Want to be able to talk to the UART device soldered to the board so this would not be an option for me.

Then expose the UART pins of your device on your board and connect to these pins whenever you want to test it.

@ anthonys - Don’t forget to check RS232 vs TTL voltage levels so you don’t accidentally fry anything!
