You should not do manual update and you should always use the latest of everything. You are digging yourself deeper… but here is the 1K option!
Don’t bother with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 like I did. Everything had been fine for at least 3 months then I couldn’t debug and in the config I could only flash via COM. I flashed several times, it completed the transfer with the error. Strange thing with the total erasing in the windows device management I still found the name that I had originally configured and it was not reset to the factory. What happened? A degraded USB cable, if it happens to you that it flashes and you do not update the firmware, change the cable !!! (perhaps with one with magnets at the ends)
