General question: Are any of GHI’s offerings able to stream 720p video from a webcam (or similar) over Ethernet? This is question of both computer power and speed. Can the devices compress the video (if it is not already compressed by the camera) and deliver it a reasonably low latency over wire.
I’m sure you can get at least 1 frame per second of 720P video. How many do you want?
@ mtylerjr - At least 24frames per second would be good, with a latency of no more than 10 frames (i.e. 410 ms)
What if it came pre-compressed. Could one of these devices send 5Mbps of data over ethernet?
