SQL DB on gadgeteer

Thought I saw a news post a while back saying that SQL would be available on one of the premium boards, but can’t find it.

I need to run it on Hydra (preferred) or Spider.

If not, may see if I can port VistaDB to NETMF without too much trouble.

SQLLite is available on the EMX and G120 since SDK 4.2.5. The Hydra is OSHW, so you will not find it there.

Hmm I was thinking that the Hydra was premium, but only the Spider is.

CWX and EMX are too costly for my project.

I may be able to use a Cobra II, especially since it has Wifi built in and is less than the wifi add-on module + a hydra or spider.

It’s theoretically possible to compile SQLite for Hydra (GHI did just that for EMX/CWX), but managing the storage end of it could be complex. It would be hugely valuable to the community if it were accomplished…

As for porting VistaDB, it’s a commercial product, that I assume you don’t have source code for. Even if you did, it would be a massive undertaking.
