I ordered an SP module awhile back to run my second Hydra on, but had still been running on the DP until today.

I plugged it in for the first time and I’m not sure if I did something wrong or there’s an issue with it. I plugged it into the USB port on my computer and the Hydra’s light came on (dimly) but the program on the Hydra didn’t start, screen stayed back and the module got very hot after only a few seconds. Am I putting too much load on it?

Does it get hot on its own? Do you have USB Camera module?

Doesn’t get hot on without anything connected to it at all.

What I had connected was Hydra, T35, Joystick, 2 buttons, SD and RGBLED

That is about 300ma so it should warm up but not too hot for the touch.

I will try with one module first then add another and so on.
