Yes, you can use it with VS 2012.
Look for an announcement about R5 shortly 
do not use this sdk.

I’ve tried your code but with no success, i’m using a seedstudio celularmodem and cerbuino, is this a winning combination? You said that the only supported devices are G120, EMX or G400…
