Sam-ba Runtime Error

When I try to update tinybooter on my G400D I get a sam-ba runtime error as shown in the attached image. I just downloaded the G400 Beta Programmer from GHI so I believe it is the latest version.

I power up the G400D with PA11 grounded (< 3 seconds) and I do see GPS Camera Detect (COM19) in device manager.

I double clicked on the CommnadPrompt.bat file and entered “ProgramG400D COM19” as instructed and then I get the error.

The log file produced is as follows:

-I- Waiting ...
-I- TCL platform : Windows NT
-I- SAM-BA 2.12 on : windows
current connection is \USBserial\COM19, \\USBserial\\COM19 to be matched

Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

Several people on the forum have described a similar problem as you are having. We are investigating the cause of this issue.

Can you give any more information as to how you are powering up the board, what OS you are using, etc.?

Thanks for the reply Aron

Module is mounted on a G400HDR board and powered by the USB Client DP module via USB. I have the USB plugged directly into my computer and have also tried a powered hub. No other modules are connected to the board. OS is Win7 Pro 32 bit.

Thanks for the tip! I updated the driver manually and tinybooter installed without error
