I now have Windows 8 and … And as shown above Windows 8 is not included.
I have tried all of the compatibility setting and none work…
Anyone know of a work-around?
I suppose not but my other PC was met by the Grimm Reaper…

Yes Sir, I have and when using run as administrator.
I tried several more times and received the error dialog.
Then I received a windows dialog that ‘smart screen’ ? could not start. I closed the dialog and continued to install sam-ba and it has installed. Not sure it it will work as I have not tried yet.
I have no idea what ‘smart screen’ is but the way the warning dialog looked, it would appear that it was a message from windows 8.
EDIT: I may know what caused the original issue. I did NOT have anti-virus (McAfee) shut off as I should have.

I am using Sam-Ba on Win8 x64 without problem. IIRC I made sure I unblocked the installer before I tried installing it.

I had a good laugh on that one…I never knew SmartScreen existed… I learn something new every day! Also using Win8 x64
