My question is based on how I read things. Not because anything is right or wrong.
I assumed the new TinyCLR was suppose to be used with Visual Studio 2017.
Reading from the document found at http://www.tinyclr.com/
It’s as easy as:
- Grab a FEZ or one of the many supported hardware.
- Download and install a Microsoft Visual Studio edition, including the free community edition, including the free community edition.
- Download the free TinyCLR OS extension.
- Plug in a USB Cable…and enjoy!
" Download and install a Microsoft Visual Studio edition "
To me, I read that as ( ANY ) Microsoft Visual Studio edition .
Premium vs community edition, not 2013 vs 2017 edition. But I see your point.
If you click on the “Get started” button then you will see 2017 clearly there.
