Question on documentation

#1

My question is based on how I read things. Not because anything is right or wrong.

I assumed the new TinyCLR was suppose to be used with Visual Studio 2017.

Reading from the document found at http://www.tinyclr.com/

It’s as easy as:

  1. Grab a FEZ or one of the many supported hardware.
  2. Download and install a Microsoft Visual Studio edition, including the free community edition, including the free community edition.
  3. Download the free TinyCLR OS extension.
  4. Plug in a USB Cable…and enjoy!

" Download and install a Microsoft Visual Studio edition "

To me, I read that as ( ANY ) Microsoft Visual Studio edition .

Premium vs community edition, not 2013 vs 2017 edition. But I see your point.

If you click on the “Get started” button then you will see 2017 clearly there.

a most of doc. are ready but sometime we need some doc. with picture “explained in way for dummies”

for example :
-using tera term step by step how to (with pic.)
-using compilation of addiditonal things(marshalling part) as is default and uploading working sample (i follow interopt of user bouland very long communication and different approach of using additional tools which are not documented)

so please can you see me on my doc how I explained

so picture by picture i tried to explain examples for

-dfu mode
-uart rdm6300 example
-uart upload firmware
-pinout of nucleo etc.
