I am sorry if this has been answered before.

I have a bunch of wall warts that…

Output: 12V - 1.5A, +center

Will I melt the world if I run my FEZ on these?

If I can, are there any drawbacks about using them?

The board clearly states “6 to 9V”. 12V would not do good things.
