I have a solid 5V regulated power supply I built. Do I have to jumper VIN and 5V on both boards to be powered with this? The domino has a ethernet shield and lcd, the cobra is the starter kit with the screen.
Yes you can jumper vin to 5V to get the 5V voltage right into the system
