Possible New G140 ;)

If i may be so bold to say this new processor would be great for the next G1xx model series.

Some of my personal highlights. Man, when you see the complete list, its amazing just how much they can pack into these processors these days.

*ARM Cortex-M4 processor, running at frequencies of up to 204 MHz.
*Up to 1 MB on-chip dual bank flash memory with flash accelerator.
*Quad SPI Flash Interface (SPIFI) with four lanes and up to 60 MB per second.
*One Fast-mode Plus I²C-bus interface with monitor mode and with open-drain I/O pins conforming to the full I²C-bus specification. Supports data rates of up to 1 Mbit/s.
*LCD controller with DMA support and a programmable display resolution of up to 1024 H x 768 V. Supports monochrome and color STN panels and TFT color panels; supports 1/2/4/8 bpp Color Look-Up Table (CLUT) and 16/24-bit direct pixel mapping

Wouldn’t it be called G204…?

LQFP208. Wow, that’s a big one.

It should be a BGA package. Never mind they do make it in a BGA package.

We were going to use this chip (LPC1800) for G120 2 or 3 years ago but NXP had problem getting flash to work. They say now (after 3 years) that they fixed it but I am still not seeing a lot of stock, mainly flash-less pats.

Do not worry, we always keep an eye on latest technologies.
