Is the Portal set up for connecting an external rechargeable battery and crystal (if it needs it?). Can’t see where vbat is exposed on the board, there seems to be a super cap on the board but don’t know how long it will keep the rtc going on power failure…
RTC has everything it needs to run. I think the cap is good to keep it going for days. I can’t remember how long.
Thanks Gus, I’ll have to try to figure out why the RTC is coming up invalid sometimes.
Did you enable the charging feature?
I figured that was the issue - do you use slow or fast charging for the portal supercap? The devboard uses the fast charge I see…
