Panda II: Port.ResistorMode.PullDown?

#1

I can’t find any information on the issue, but looking at some issues that Netduino users have experienced, it seems to be down to there being no pulldown resistors at CPU level for the Panda?

I’m getting “An unhandled exception of type ‘System.ArgumentException’ occurred in Microsoft.SPOT.Hardware.dll”

on the line

Colms[0] = new InputPort((Cpu.Pin)FEZ_Pin.Digital.Di21, true, Port.ResistorMode.PullDown);

Is it a case that I need to use my own pulldown resistors?

#2

Ok, it actually seems that it’s the second argument (glitchMode?)

#3

Glitch filter only works on pins that support interrupts.

#4

Thanks for clarifying that.

What does the glitch filter do exactly?

#5

Checkout this definition (electronics glitch),

#6

I know what glitch means. That doesn’t explain what the Glitch filter is doing exactly, though, does it.

#7

the glitch filter eliminates glitches.
