On the horizon

Any good guesses?

Looks like a mega servo module.

What do I win?

A big +1

OK, that’s kinda weird…bug in the forum software? Or easter egg?

It is a bug.

I’m not bright enough to have that light come for me, so I’ll have to wait for you to enlighten me which I’m sure will illuminate some uses for it.

I’m with Architect on the one on the right - 16 servo controller. The one on the left looks like it could control a bunch of LEDs.

I think you might be onto something for the left-hand module…here’s the listing for that IC:

As for the one on the right…servo controller was my guess.

@ devhammer - Since you guessed right first are you in need of driving servos?

If it works then it’s a chainable 16 channel I2c servo driver…todays coding project…

@ ianlee74 - Yup 54 channels of LED’s with 8bit brightness on each one - any good for NashMicro?

Ooops! My bad. You are the man!

Heck yea! We never turn down awesome free stuff! Thanks!

I never say no to Gadgeteer goodies.

And I haven’t spent nearly enough time playing with servos.

I’ll sort you out…

And look…it’s alive…

Justin,

I’ve not played much with servos, but once ran into an issue when I tried using a digital servo.

Does your board support these as well?

Shouldn’t be an issue - digital servos tend to be power hungry…

love the dancing servos

I think this would be perfect for building your own Gadgeteer version of Teddy Ruxpin.

Stuff that will lighten my wallet even further?

ding! ding! ding!

Justin,

Do you you have a website with all of your modules available for purchase?

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

I have been rather slack on the website front - it is coming…just rather slowly.
If you have any questions just ping me an email until the site is live: justin at ingenuitymicro dot com
