OK to keep ALFAT reset pin at 3.3v?

On the ALFAT (USB board) is it OK to just tie the Reset pin to 3.3v?

The manual seems to suggest that it should be controlled by the Master–held low for a short time at power-up then set high to ensure the power supply is stable.

Right now I have it hardwired to 3.3v and everything works fine but I just want to make sure that’s OK for long-term reliability.

well the obvious issue with doing that is that you can’t reset the alfat if need be !

Using reset is always recommended but in some cases it can be optional.

Good point although I don’t anticipate needing to reset after power-up.

I do have a few extra I/O on my MCU so I’ll probably assign one to the reset just to be safe.
