Oem board and oem link questions

I’m looking to set up a simple data logger on an existing embedded controller. I was looking at the OEM board as a solution and have a couple of questions.

1. is there any documentation available for these products?
2. what is the difference between the OEM board and the OEM link module?

For your second question, the link module is the gadgeteer friendly version of the ALFAT.
