Nokia nails it at Nokia World with new Products and Apps

Had to stay up and watch Nokia World from Abu Dhabi as Nokia release not one but two 6" devices, the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 and a new tablet the Lumia 2520

So Nokia where do I send my money as I’ll be hunting down a Lumia 1520 and Lumia 2520.

I should also mention that they announced a ton of new apps, including CamScanner, InNote, Nokia Storyteller (I so want this), Papyrus, Nokia Beamer and Nokia Camera (it just keeps getting better) just to mention a few.

In short Nokia nailed it and this should thump more then just a little excitement into the Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 world.

P.S. Second link points to 1520 (same as the first one) instead of 1320.

Likely because I want a Lumia 1520, but here is the link for the Lumia 1320:

I wish they made a 1020 sized 1520, even with the lesser camera. Not sure that I want a 6" phone.

When it comes to stores I’m going to check it out in person, perhaps my opinion will change then.

Isn’t that just called a 1020? I’m actually not sure what features from the 1520 you want - unless it’s the higher resolution screen, but honestly then I reckon it’d mean it’d be too small a pixel density.

Personally, I have a 920, and was lusting after a 1020, now I think I have a couple of new targets…

Primarily: Quad core 2.2GHz, 1080p, microSD, BTLE 4, bigger than average capacity battery, integrated Qi

Most of those things (except charging, uSD) are point-in-time things that will always take time to integrate into newer products. Plus you can’t have “everything” in one as then there’d be no upgrade lust generated !

I just don’t see why they didn’t consult me first …

great comeback !

I’ve decided to go out and buy new trousers, with larger pockets.
