Hello sorry if this is dumb question as I am new to the .netmf world and am still learning.
Is their a module for the Spider kit that can use NFC. I have read their is an RFID module that may be compatible with the kit but I am unsure if the supports NFC i.e my phone has an NFC chip that I would like to see if I can read data from it.

At this stage tehre’s no NFC module, but a small amount of work and an Extender module along with something like this PN532 NFC/RFID controller breakout board [v1.6] : ID 364 : $39.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits will probably work for what you want. It won’t be Gadgeteer plug-and-play and you’ll have to write code for it, but it should be able to be made to work

Brett is absolutely correct, an extender and that adafruit module is all you need. If you order them up and have any problems porting their example to NETMF just drop another post here and I or someone else will gladly help get it done and in code share.
