.Net Micro Framework 4.1 installation Issue

Hello!

I am a newbie with Gadgeteer and having what seems to be silly issue, I am having a issue trying to install the .Net Micro Framework 4.1. I get an error stating:

“Microsoft .Net Micro Framework 4.1 (QFE1) can only be installed on computers with visual studio 2010 Express edition or Visual Basic 2010 express edition. Please install Visual Studio, Visual c# Express or Visua Basic Express and rerun the Micros…”.

I have both vs 2010 ultimate and sp1 installed. I have also tried installing Visual C# Express and still get the error. I am running Windows 7 x64.

Has anyone seen this issue in the past? If so, what was done to get around it.

The MSI must be run with elevated privalages. Once this is done, all worked as expected. Just documenting incase this comes up in the the future
