Moving beyond breadboard

I have come to the point that my project is working on a breadboard. But now I need to take it to the next level.

I have no experience in making a real board nor do I have a good address to have it made over here in the Netherlands (yet), So I am looking at an intermediate step to solder it up. Any pointers?

RobV,

an intermediate step is to use perfboard (gaatjesprint in dutch). Look at this link:

Eric, what about http://tinyurl.com/ ?

Thanks, completely forgot about tinyurl

Thanks for the link (bedankt in dutch), which would be perfect for my UI slave board. Any standard solutions for building a shield for the domino?

For a Domino shield you can use the Flashshield: http://www.tinyclr.com/hardware/1/fez-domino/#/grid/item/133/ or Arduino protoshield: Arduino Shield List: Adafruit Industries Unknown

Eric

Also, you might have seen that there is a little offset in the upper pins of the domino.
To correct this, you will need this type of headers:

There are a lot of people in the Netherlands who are into making shields as a hobby. (check out sites like marktplaats or similar)

I do not know any right now, but you will find someone, I am sure

Thanks I’ll order a flashshield for now… That one has the proper 3v3 stencil and since i’ll be mixing 5v and 12v somewhere I dont want to get confused.
