I’m just trying this board out for the first time. However, I’ve yet to be successful at deploying code to it. I don’t see anything on their site about updating firmware. MFDeploy sees it fine but when VS tries to deploy to it I get “Device not found or cannot be opened…”. Anyone here know if there’s a trick to these boards? Is there a firmware update process that I’m not seeing?

You’ll need DFU STMicroelectronics utility to flash image files (i.e. not through TinyBooter).
Concerning deployment issues, sometimes depending on older PC internal USB hubs, they can be often solved by using an external USB hub between your PC and Mountaineer boards.
