I think DueLink will be a nightmare : which modules I want first ? Where will I put them all ? Must I book a ship to all that ?   Or I can ask Christmas Father maybe ?

How about a Gadgeteer to Duelink converter module. Onboard header or dip switch for selecting Gadgeteer socket type.

Possible but could be confusing to newcomers.

:grinning: Add a disclaimer… “If you do not know what this is, then it is not for you”.

We have done a lot of testing and learned much. There are major needed changes unfortunately but we have a way to make it even better now!! Back to the drawing board.

If all was perfect on first time, it could be boring
But learning is always fun !

When does this ship  ??

Travelling on a family emergency in the middle of a home reno, this is looking tempting as we may not have time for a traditional tree this year.

Do I have your address?

Another update! We have faced some issues with chaining devices. Going more than 5 needed a very slow clock! In parallel, we have also found issues with available memory to do what we want the device to do!!

However, all that drove us into a brilliant idea that completely upgraded everything.

On the hardware front, we upgraded from 20 pin to 28 pin. The new package is QFN, meaning we get more pins on a smaller package! Chained devices no longer share the signal. Each device is now a repeater on its own.

On the software front, we want things freakin’ easy! So, we upgraded the chip to 64K of flash. We are negotiating pricing with ST to even use 128K, because you deserve it!! This allows for a full DUELink scripting engine. In fact, we are currently expanding the engine.

That is not all, USB has become a key element in DUELink. More on this later.
