Making the Domino more enclosure-friendly

I really love the Domino. It hits a lot of sweet spots for me and I’d like to incorporate it into a series I’m developing on DIY LLM-enabled home automation that is self-contained on-premises - no shipping your data to the cloud.

But, I have one minor issue with basing a nice-looking a touch-screen controller on it, and it’s the fact that the placement of the screen interface makes it near impossible to align a screen with it such that both line up one behind the other nicely. I can’t fold the Domino and screen behind each other so that they can be placed in an enclosure whose outline is defined by the outline of the screen.

If you do a rev of the Domino, please do consider moving the lcd/touch interface so that it all folds up nicely for use in a streamlined enclosure.

With much gratitude for the great work on this device…

We already did because great minds think alike. But we held production on the new Rev as we consider other options as well.

But in the future you can also use the SoM to make whatever board you like… Which is not public yet.
