I’m doing a small update to my old FEZ Cobra 1. What was the last version of the firmware that supported both this board and its WiFi so I can grab it and use it.

Yes it does use EMX. The big question is on the WiFi support. It was phased out and closed source due to the agreement with the company that made the module. Rather than use an updated firmware I’d like to use the last version that supported that WiFi so it’s not a useless module sitting around collecting dust.
