Hydra and Win8 deployment error (on 4.2 RC)

I updated a hydra on a Win7 machine to 4.2. On a Win7 machine, I’m able to deploy an application to the hydra board. Under Win8, I get an error on deployment that is extremely vague. "An error has occurred: please check your hardware. "

I’m able to deploy to a Spider that was updated to 4.2 on a Win8 machine.

Any ideas?

Doing a direct plug into my tower got this working. Seemed odd as it was plugged into a powered USB hub
