How to remap FEZ Cobra PWM pins onto IO40 expansion board?

How to remap FEZ Cobra PWM pins onto IO40 expansion board?

Can I use any pin on the IO40 expansion either as Analog In/Out/Interrupt or Digital?

Comprehensive guide to the board will be greatly be appreciated!

The [component shield] is ignorant of what kind of pins. It is just wires routed to JST pins. You can wire any cpu pin to any IO40 port. Your pwm pins are labeled on the board silk and in your cobra FEZ_Pin.PWM enumeration. After that, it is just how you want to config your ports and use them. hth

you are thinking about the component shield. the io40 contains 49 digital IOs on the boats.

The IO40 board uses a chip that is not capable of generating PWM

ops. I was thinking looking at my component shield. Must read better.
On a related front. If you did just wanted pins exposed, make something like this with either female or male header pins as desired (probably female safer). Solder female headers on the cobra and push left side of board on. Your devices could then be std 3-pin headers and/or just jumper wires as needed.
