How to debug hardware flow-control?

Hi there, having a setup with some serial communication on the cobra II on socket 8, which should support rts/cts.

There is an error that keeps popping up when longer data chunks are being sent to the module. It looks like it could be an issue with the serial communication failing on me. I have tried attaching a logic analyzer (image attached), but I am not sure what framing error means in this case…

Ch0:RX
Ch1:CTS
Ch2:TX
Ch3:RTS

What is the root cause of these framing errors?

They generally happen when you have the wrong baud, data bits, parity or stop bits. Are you sure your settings match the device that is talking to you?

@ Dave McLaughlin - Thanks, will investigate…

I had the idea that CTS/RTS might have been swapped, or that it was ONLY the baud rate.
