How do you power a Cobra II?

I’m a software developer, and all of this hardware is completely new to me.

Some questions about the Cobra 2

  1. There is a power connector on the images. What type and Voltage / Amps does it use?
  2. If I connect the Cobra to USB, do I still power it using a power supply?
  3. Is it possible to power the Cobra II with a battery pack?
  4. Is it possible to order a power supply with the Cobra2 for European sockets?

Sorry for posting obviously stupid questions, but the hardware is new to me, and I want to order everything I need in one neat package :slight_smile:

  1. 800mA-capable power supply that run 7V to 30V
  2. No.
  3. Yes. Must be at least 7Volts
  4. As long as the power supply has the proper voltage, current and plug it will work.

While hardly and expert now, not too long ago I was asking the same type of questions about my FEZ Domino. Hang around here for a while and you’ll have accrued a good amount of electronics knowledge!
