very odd. I’ve never heard of an effect like that before. Maybe EMC from the high pulse current in the flash. Easy test(and fix) would be to put it in a plastic box and test again.

This gives the term “Flashing your board” a whole new meaning :smiley:

Well apparently they s is the photons resetting it.

There is a reason why I’ve been working so hard to teach myself, never order stuff till your actually ready to use it, or put another way, its never a good idea to be the first guy to discover the minefield.

ON Semi doesn’t seem to want to give up a datasheet for it, but it would be interesting to know if they’re only specced for inside enclosures…
