Didn t know that standalone .co was available…
Cool! Congrats!
CO for company
CO for Columbia
Or Colorado
Well, yeah, but the .co domain belongs to Columbia. They just got lucky with the abbreviation.
Well then it is not GHI LLC, but GHI Cartel now, right?
Many companies got CO on the grounds of company shortuct, like www.o.co for overstock.com and t.co for twitter.com
Either way, it is a short to get you the website ghi.co … easy
The whole DNS thing is a bit of a pet peeve of mine (one of many…). It seems like every company is forced to register their name (and all variations, mistypes, and abbreviations) defensively. Every time a new TLD shows up, you have to register all your variations in it, just in case. Even in the .xxx domain you have to register your stuff defensively, because do you really want a ghielectronics.xxx or ghi.xxx or fezspider.xxx out there?
There’s got to be a better way, but I don’t know what it is.
