GHI OSHW SDK 4.2 / 4.3 problem

I have some problems deploying my assembly to my device and reinstalled the current SDK’s. I’m new to gadgeteering, so this might be a stupid question but can’t get my issue resolved.

I have a problem with the release of april 30th.
In the description it says for Visual study 2010 SDK 4.2 QFE2 is needed, but in the release not of GHI OSHW NETMF v4.2 SDK it says "requires 4.3 RTM and visual study 2012 while I am using 2010.

I can build my project just fine but when I want to upload it says:
“* ERROR!!! Firmware version does not match managed code version!!! *”

Previously in the SDK setup I could run a firmware update, but I can’t find that anymore.

I can only find the manual update explenation here(http://www.ghielectronics.com/docs/54/firmware-update-emx) but these seems a rather devious method.
Hopefully someone can help.

The firmware updater application should be in your installation folder.

Thanks Aron! That was the updater I was looker for.

However, now when deploying I get the error:
“An unhandled exception of type ‘System.NullReferenceException’ occurred in Microsoft.SPOT.TinyCore.dll”

So I’m up for a new challenge :wink:
