I was invited to speak a little at NSERC (Natural Science and Energy Research Council) and IEEE event last night as an instructor at the Meet My Robot event in Calgary Facebook and it was very interesting to hear about how well some of our local FIRST Teams did including a couple who made it to the World Finals competition what was even more impressive was to hear about the scholarship offers these participants were receiving. Its good to see that there is a growing interest and events like this help to raise awareness.
