I noticed both the G80 through-hole and dev board have 33 ohm series resistors in the D+ and D- paths:
However the STMicro datasheet shows no resistors to be used:
Were these added for a specific reason (e.g. found to be required during testing) or perhaps just because this was just the way someone did it previously, and it just happens to work here OK? Just trying to avoid more components and another line on the BOM if possible.
If I don’t hear otherwise I’ll just leave them omitted…
