G80 not recognized?

Just connected my board with a G80 TH mounted on it via USB and Windows 10 adds a “G80” device in Device Manager under “Universal Serial Bus devices”, but no COM ports are created. TinyCLR Config doesn’t recognize any devices, Visual Studio doesn’t find any devices to deploy to, etc.

I tried the drivers that are supposedly only for Windows 7 and Windows 8 and they made no difference.

Is there something I’m missing here?

Welcome - I’m not sure I’ve seen your name around here.

You don’t “need” to see a serial port at this stage, really. What is it you’re trying to do exactly? Is this a new board? Have you deployed the TinyCLR update to it already? Do you really want TinyCLR, not netmf?

Correct, I want to flash the TinyCLR update to the chip then deploy apps.

I just re-read the G80 page and the whole LDR0 part for the bootloader. I had left LDR0 and LDR1 unconnected on the board. Whoops. Good thing I have about 3 other things to fix on here already…
