G400D Beta Evaluation Kit

What is the difference between the G400D Beta Evaluation Kit that I have and the G400 HDR Breakout and G400D SOM production releases available for purchase today.

The image of the G400HDR on https://www.ghielectronics.com/catalog/product/416 shows v 1.2, the same as the beta evaluation kit. And the images for the G400D SOM shows v 1.2 NOT FOR Production on https://www.ghielectronics.com/catalog/product/400, same as the beta evaluation kit.

Can the G400HDR and the G400D SOM be considered ready for production by upgrading to the latest firmware?

There’s at least one identified issue (Ethernet) that was identified in the beta of the G400-D module. Whether there are any changes to the HDR holder is probably less important.

I suspect the GHI team are just using the same images or are still pending the production images, and you should NOT assume that there is a simple firmware update to turn the not-for-production-use module into something usable in production.

the breakout board G400HDR is Little less for starting. How to connect to a PC and how to start programming?

I agree, would not hurt to put it in the description that a power module is required.
