is the reset pin on the G120 only connected to the mcu and the reset line for flash is controlled from mcu? or is the reset pin connected both to mcu and flash?
Why is this info needed?
The LPC has a built in reset circuit and if the LPC controls the reset line for flash I don’t need a external reset circuit for G120.
I save space and cost.
I dont know if the the flash thats mounted on G120 has aslo a internal reset circuit.
Nothing internally is tied to reset beside the processor but we recommend adding a reset chip. You may want to experiment with it to make sure you are satisfied before you decide on the reset.
Do you think that it could be situation where the external flash gets corrupted if the reset pin on G120 is always connected to VCC and the power goes up and down?
I am not sure
